The Mutable World

Kee Jin is disillusioned. He watches as Korean society weighs upon itself. It is sick, and he needs to fix it. In doing so, he embarks upon a journey to alter the future, as well as draw upon his past.Kee Jin is an orphan. Burdened with the familiar pressures and stresses associated with the youth of South Korea, he is discontent. Around him, he observes a society plagued by a plethora of rat races, each succeeding the one before it, engaging their participants in a marathon with no finish line.He writes a blog, started after the suicide of his father on the back of unemployment. He found him at home, hanging, accompanied by nothing more than a note inscribed with the words, "I'm sorry." Now, Kee Jin has grown impatient. Words will not suffice any longer. He realizes that change will not come of its own accord, so he makes a decision. He will act. He will act to bring change, and he will act to bring happiness where little can be found.
