Sandom is the author of six thrillers and mysteries, including The God Machine, Gospel Truths and The Wall Street Murder Club, plus the eco-thriller The Wave – A John Decker Thriller. Booklist called Gospel Truths "a splendid, tautly woven thriller . . . (and) an intelligent mystery of tremendous spiritual and literary depth." And Library Journal termed it, "A masterful first novel, based on a true incident, which spins a complicated web of corruption, greed and deception." Kirkus Reviews called The Wall Street Murder Club "A Big Apple Deliverance, endowing New York culture with all the corrosively dehumanizing power of Dickey's wild nature." And Booklist said, "(Sandom) writes with stunning elegance . . . A sure hit with any suspense reader." Caroline Thompson (author of Edward Scissorhands) said, "Move over, Dan Brown . . . All hail J.G. Sandom . . . (The God Machine) is a thrilling and breathless, rapturously-written and mind-blowing read. It'll keep you up all night, turning pages as fast as your little fingers can manage." And Historical Novels Review said, "History galore, violence, and intrigue fill the pages of this tightly plotted, twisting and turning adventure story . . . The God Machine is a very impressive historical thriller!" Kirkus said, "Sandom's strength lies in the verve of his story, with writing that has both muscle . . . (and) brains . . . The Washington Post said, "(Sandom) writes with a precision and delicacy unusual for YA fiction," and called Kiss me, I’m Dead "a subtle gem."

Jake Barnes, an odd man, is a struggling novelist that makes his living at a publishing house where the owner and the other employees find him too strange to fraternize with. His social life and his writing career change when a mysterious man shows up on his doorstep demanding that Jake hand over the man’s cat. Quirky humor. In A Fool For A Client, Hobie Burrows returns to San Francisco after the conclusion of A Dream Is A Pinhole In Time. Not only does he have to face a future without Keiko, Lott & Pembroke (his old law firm) undermines his plans to practice law as a solo practitioner in San Francisco. Can Tiranoan technology and a wealthy client help him succeed on either account?A Fool For A Client is a story in The Encircling Belts of Tirano Saga. Planet Tirano creates a unique milieu for the series The Encircling Belts of Tirano Saga. Its aristocracy consists only of pureblooded descendants of the leaders of the mother ship that landed two millennia ago. Genetically engineered women, conceived in vitro, control Tirano’s computer network and hyperspace portals. Vhirko, clones of women who died valiantly in battle, guard Tirano’s monarch. Tirano has been at war for decades with a savage alien species that becomes sentient only if mentally linked in groups of four or more.Tirano’s King Mhikhel unleashes fundamental, and uncontrollable, changes to this milieu when he acknowledges as his child an illegitimate son of a commoner and raises the child (Tarnlot) as a prince. Despite the aristocracy’s antagonism, Mhikhel grooms Tarnlot to serve as the Lord Chancellor (the highest governmental post, which is normally held by a member of the aristocracy) when Mhikhel’s heir (Prince Zhun’Mar) assumes the throne. In A Bastard’s Oath Tarnlot must rescue the throne for Zhun’Mar’s by foiling both an aristocrat’s coup d’etat and the aliens’ coup de main. In the series’ second installment, A Dream Is A Pinhole In Time, Tarnlot and Zhun’Mar escape an ambush in deep space by entering a hyperspace fissure that strands them on a planet in an unknown galaxy: present day Earth. The third installment, Outliers of Tirano, begins the stories of Siniastra, Zhun’Mar's daughter. Sibyl of Doom continues the story of Siniastra's quest to serve as Queen of Tirano despite the efforts of Tirano's aristocrats to remove her from the throne.

After compiling a collection of acquaintances that not only seemed bizarre but dangerous as well he decided that a move out of town to the peaceful country was just the answer. But Pyle’s Trailer Court proved to be anything but peaceful. To start with, it was located directly across the highway from Les Birds – one of Wisconsin’s most notorious strip clubs – where the action from the stage inside tended to move outside to the parking lot and strippers settled their disagreements with their fists, as patrons cheered them on. His neighbors in the surrounding trailers turned out to be as strange in their own ways as many of the people Jeff had left behind in the city. Jeff’s neighbor Jenny claimed that she had been abducted by aliens that took her up in their spaceship just to fool around a little. He also had a raccoon – Mr. Fats – that had taken a personal dislike to him and had made it an objective to make Jeff’s life miserable. And Jeff was being bullied by a woman that moonlighted as an Elvis impersonator from the taco plant where he worked. But, worst of all, he had incurred the wrath of a notoriously evil family – the Wormters – that were known to be so cruel that they carried around a dog that they had raised in a glass jug, like a pirate ship in a bottle. Can Jeff stand up to all the bullies in his life and live to tell the tale? Read The Wormters by J. T. Pearson and find out.
