The Classroom Fables: Red and Mr. Wolfe

The first story of an updated fairy tale anthology, Red and Mr. Wolfe tells the story of Red Harrison, an eleven year old sixth grader who suffers the fate of his dog eating his homework. He devises a plan to earn an extension by bringing his teacher Mrs. G. a bright red apple. The substitute Mr. Wolfe sees Red with the apple and decides he must have it, dressing like Mrs. G to try and fool Red.Ever get the feeling that you and your parents don’t live in the same world or maybe even the same planet as you do? This week's G-TRAX is on parents. First thing I want to make absolutely clear is that this is not going to be a parent-bashing session. In fact, I want each of you to know that I think that parents are the coolest thing since sliced bread. Yes, Parents are people too and God created them just like He created you and me. In fact, uh. . . I’m not sure I should tell you this, but there is this really big secret that I’d like to share with you. Are you ready for this?
