Welcome to the World, Baby Girl!
Part #1 of "Elmwood Springs" series by Fannie Flagg
Literature & Fiction
Welcome to the World, Baby Girl! is the funny, serious, and compelling new novel by Fannie Flagg, author of the beloved Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe (and prize-winning co-writer of the classic movie).
Once again, Flagg's humor and respect and affection for her characters shine forth. Many inhabit small-town or suburban America. But this time, her heroine is urban: a brainy, beautiful, and ambitious rising star of 1970s television. Dena Nordstrom, pride of the network, is a woman whose future is full of promise, her present rich with complications, and her past marked by mystery.
Among the colorful cast of characters are:
Sookie, of Selma, Alabama, Dena's exuberant college roommate, who is everything that Dena is not; she is thrilled by Dena's success and will do everything short of signing autographs for her; Sookie's a mom, a wife, and a Kappa forever
Dena's cousins, the Warrens, and her aunt Elner, of Elmwood Springs, Missouri, endearing, loyal, talkative, ditsy, and, in their way, wise
Neighbor Dorothy, whose spirit hovers over them all through the radio show that she broadcast from her home in the 1940s
Sidney Capello, pioneer of modern sleaze journalism and privateer of privacy, and Ira Wallace, his partner in tabloid television
Several doctors, all of them taken with--and almost taken in by-Dena
There are others, captivated by a woman who tries to go home again, not knowing where home or love lie.
From the Hardcover edition.

Erik and Kelli both make sacrifices, but for different reasons. Will their relationship make the progress that Kelli wants and expects? "Trust. You may not always be able to trust the person that you love, but you can always love the person that you trust." - Erik Ead This book is Book II of a series of four. It can easily be enjoyed as a stand alone read. FROM REVIEWERS: 5 STARS "If you liked Baby Girl, you'll be blown away by Baby Girl II. This book has a totally different feel and tone then the first book. Erik and Kelli are still the main couple to watch. We now get a chance to really get to know Erik's brothers from his MC and to play catch up with Teddy aka Crash and Heather. Side note, I simply adored Teddy & Heather together, they made me smile! Oh, and I loved that crazy witch that pops up as well! I love the dual POV, I'm a nosey person by nature so knowing what Erik or Kelli was thinking made my day! It also stressed me out a little, Kelli just wants to please Erik and make him proud, any person who has the instinct to be a caregiver understands the personal pride in this act, but while Kelli is taking care of Erik she seems oblivious to his struggles with his commitment and trust issues towards her. My emotions where all over the place with how real this book felt, my heart really went out to Kelli at times. I can't possibility leave this review without mentioning the sex in this book, it really was a real cock coaster of a ride and the kitchen scene fanning myself really does put the abandon farm house scene to shame!!" - Deborah Clearwater Amazon/Goodreads (2000 ratings) NA Fiction, NA Romance, Adult Romance, Erotica, Alpha, Alpha male, D/s Dominance, Dominant, 50 Shades of Grey, Alpha male, MC, Motorcycle Club, submissive, Erik Ead, Kelli, Scott Hildreth, Baby Girl, Aching to Exhale, Craving Constellations, Safe with me, Unattainable, Heaven's Sinners, Hell's Knights , Holding On, Ride, Maybe This Time, New Adult Romance, New Adult Erotica, Baby Girl, by Amazon #1 Best Selling male Erotica author Scot Hildreth

Baby Girl
Part #1 of "Erik Ead" series by Hildreth, Scott
This is the first book in a series of three in the life of Erik Ead. Erik is a psychiatrist. He rides a motorcycle in a Motorcycle Club. He is tattooed. He is confident to the point of perceived arrogance. Erik does not believe in love and he doesn’t live in a mansion -he rides a motorcycle in a MC. He does not have an airplane. Erik is extremely confident, real, and knows what he wants. He wants a woman to submit; with no commitment for love. Erik will settle for nothing less than owning Kelli. Kelli is a college graduate scheduled to go to a university at the end of the summer. She meets Erik, who is older than she is. Immediately she is intrigued by him. Kelli has never been in a relationship at all. Kelli has spent her life being promiscuous, and using men for sex. Kelli, after meeting Erik, wants to do nothing but please him. Kelli doesn’t quite understand why, and waits on Erik to explain to her why she is the way she is, and what to do next . "Love isn't real. Love is what people say to you so they can keep fucking you. So they can keep your interest. I don't want lies. I want my ass slapped, my hair pulled, and treated like a little whore." – Kelli with an “I” When these two begin to spend time together, things begin to change; personalities, interests, and the need for affection. What happens is something that must be experienced by the reader. This book is, again, not watered down. This book has tremendous depth to those that are looking to find it. It will, upon completion, allow you into the minds, hearts, and heads of people as they develop a D/s relationship. Again, if you have always wondered about what a Dominant/submissive relationship is all about – less the airplanes, mansions, and billions, read Baby Girl. It’s real, it’s raw, and it’s got the hottest, steamiest real sex you can imagine. Plan on being up all night.
